We install raw engineered timber floorboards and sand and coat them on-site — giving you the authentic look of solid hardwood with a custom, seamless finish.
Raw Engineered Timber Installation
We install raw (uncoated) engineered timber floorboards and then sand and coat them on-site. This approach combines the stability and consistency of engineered boards with the authentic, seamless look of a site-sanded finish — no pre-finished grooves, no visible bevels, and a coating that is perfectly level across the entire floor.
Because we sand and coat on-site, you also have the freedom to choose a custom colour, stain, or liming — something that is not possible with pre-finished boards. Please feel free to speak with us about whether this option may be better suited to your project and requirements.

Site Inspection
We assess your subfloor, measure the area, and discuss board selection, layout, and timeline.

Subfloor Preparation
The subfloor is prepared — plywood, battens, or moisture barrier as required for your specific subfloor type.

Acclimatisation
Boards are delivered and allowed to acclimatise to your home's environment to prevent post-installation movement.

Installation
Boards are laid using secret-nail or adhesive fixing, depending on the subfloor and board type.

On-Site Sanding & Coating
The installed floor is sanded smooth and coated with your chosen finish — the same process as our sanding service.
